Ans :- The Chinese
painting are based on imaginative , inner or spiritual approach whereas the
European painting reproduce an actual view, of an external or real object .

Explain the concept of Shanshui ?
Ans :- Shanshui,
meaning “mountain- water”,refer to a style of Chine painting that involve
natural landscape , the landscape which is an inner one,a spiritual and
conceptual space .It represent the two complementary poles ‘ yin and yang’
refelecting the Daoist view of the Universe .

(1) What do you understand by the terms ‘outsider art’ and ‘art burt’or ‘raw
art’ ?
Ans :- ‘Outsider
art’ refer to those artist who have no right to be artist . ‘art burt’ or ‘raw
art’ are the works of art in their raw state as regards cultural and artistic
influences .
(2)Who
was the “untutored genius who created paradise “ and what is the nature of his
contribution to art ?
Ans :- A
Paradise created by Nek Chand . He made a garden know to the world today as the
“Rock Garden” at Chandigarh .He is now hailed as India’s biggest contributor to
outsider art .
