Q1 :- (1) Contrast the Chinese view of art with the European view with examples ?

Ans :- The Chinese painting are based on imaginative , inner or spiritual approach whereas the European painting reproduce an actual view, of an external or real object .

 

Q2 :- Explain the concept of Shanshui ?

Ans :- Shanshui, meaning “mountain- water”,refer to a style of Chine painting that involve natural landscape , the landscape which is an inner one,a spiritual and conceptual space .It represent the two complementary poles ‘ yin and yang’ refelecting the Daoist view of the Universe .

Q2 :- (1) What do you understand by the terms ‘outsider art’ and ‘art burt’or ‘raw art’ ?

Ans :- ‘Outsider art’ refer to those artist who have no right to be artist . ‘art burt’ or ‘raw art’ are the works of art in their raw state as regards cultural and artistic influences .

(2)Who was the “untutored genius who created paradise “ and what is the nature of his contribution to art ?

Ans :- A Paradise created by Nek Chand . He made a garden know to the world today as the “Rock Garden” at Chandigarh .He is now hailed as India’s biggest contributor to outsider art .

Q1 :- What do you notice about the beginning and the ending of the Poem ?

Ans :- The tree is calm and silent in the beginning and in the end it ends with motionless and empty level  .

 

Q2 :- To what is the bird’s movements compared ? What is the basis for thee comparision  ?

Ans :- The bird’s movements is compared to that lizard . The basis of the comparision is the sleek , and abrupt and alert movement of a lizard .

Q3 :-Why is the image of the engine evoked by the poet ?

Ans :- The engine is a source of energy to run a machine . The birds is too a source of energy for it family . Without the birds it’s family can’t survive as without the engine the machine can’t work .

Q 4 :- What do you like the most about the poem ?

Ans :-I like the simplicity of the poem .

Q5 :- What does the pharse “ her barred face identity mask “ ?

Ans :- It means that the bird barred or covered face becomes her identity mask recognition .
